I had a fantastic view from my riverside room on the top floor of Hi Porto - Pousada De Juventude. The balcony provided a stunning vista of the river and the landscape opposite, resembling the classic mateus rose label. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and I enjoyed a cup of coffee from the lounge bar for just 50 cents. The location was also convenient, with bus and tram routes nearby. Additionally, there was a patisserie in the Pingo Doce supermarket across the road, offering a handy option for breakfast.

We loved being so close to the river, perfect for leisurely walks. the views from the balcony were spectacular, especially at dawn. the room was well-sized and the bathroom was sparkling clean with a great shower. the breakfast served was delicious, and the staff was very helpful. the hotel amenities, like the gym and swimming pool, were a bonus.
The noise level at night proved to be a bit of a problem. the slamming of doors by other guests that went on till late hours was disturbing.

Great breakfast and convenient location
Over Easter, I stayed at a hostel that offered a fantastic breakfast and had a convenient location. The breakfast was inclusive and varied, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. The location of the hostel was great; it was close to the beach and had a bus stop right outside, making it easy to explore the city. there was a grocery store nearby, which was helpful for buying snacks and drinks.
The room I stayed in didn't have necessary amenities like a table or enough chairs. the staff at the reception were unenthusiastic and didn't seem friendly or approachable.

The hotel was a luxurious experience, with exclusive amenities that were truly impressive. the private facilities were top-notch, and the leisure and TV room provided a great respite after a long day of sightseeing. the location also afforded easy beach access, which was a major perk. the service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff attending to all of my needs.
The only negative aspect was the thin walls and doors, which made it difficult to sleep past 7 am due to noise from other guests and staff. this minor issue was outweighed by all of the other amazing aspects of the hotel.
